The benefits of seeing a dentist

Many people do not realise how oral health can impact their overall health. This is why it is important to have regular dental appointments to ensure that you maintain good oral health.

At our practice, we believe that regular visits to our dentist are very important and will help protect your mouth and smile in the long run. This is why aim to provide the most comprehensive dental care at affordable prices.

Visiting a dentist is an important part of keeping your teeth and gums healthy. Our dentist in Orpington can help you prevent and treat periodontal (gum) disease, as well as other dental concerns such as bad breath and tooth decay. Our dentist is also able to discuss with you ways to maintain good oral health at home, including lifestyle habits that promote the wellbeing of teeth and gums.

If you have not visited our practice before, we will invite you to have a new patient examination.

New patient examination at Crays Dental Care

For those who are visiting our practice for the first time, we offer a new patient examination with one of our dentists. At this appointment, we will ask for your medical history along with your dental history in order to find out more information about you and to take note of any previous dental issues or pre-existing conditions.

Following this, our dentist in Orpington will then carry out a thorough examination of your teeth, gums and mouth, using X-rays and taking photographs if need be. We will also carry out screening for oral cancer during this appointment. The consultation will also give you the opportunity to discuss with our dentist any problems or concerns you may have.

Should you require any further dental treatment, a plan will be created for you by our dentist which will explain why the treatment is recommended, along with other important information such as how long the treatment will take and how much it will cost.
